Beautiful river views from the room made our stay enjoyable. Parking fees felt too high for what you get.

I loved how close we were to the riverfront while still enjoying a peaceful retreat! The staff went above and beyond to keep everything just right. Plus, I can't stop raving about those Buffalo wings at the bar!
Totally recommend! 🥰💖

Proximity to restaurants and shops made exploring a breeze. The views from the room were lovely, and the bed was incredibly comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful, which was a highlight. Disappointingly, I ended up with a parking lot view instead of the waterfront I requested. Restaurant service was inconsistent—a long wait and no acknowledgement at first. The convenience store prices felt exorbitant too. Some room issues marred the stay, like unreliable outlets and a finicky toilet. The atmosphere was a bit too convention-like for my taste, but the overall experience had its positives.

The view of the river from the room was stunning. The walls are really thin, making it tough to sleep at night. Enjoyed the convenience of bike rentals nearby for exploring. Parking fees are quite high at $40 per day.

We love the riverside view—it’s like our own personal postcard. The staff is super friendly and made us feel right at home.
But the parking fees are a killer.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a great welcome drink and the convenience of nearby eateries and shops.
It was a bit expensive, but worth it for a special occasion.

During my stay I was thrilled to find this hotel just a few steps away from River Street where I could stroll along the water and pop into downtown shops and eateries which made walking around so enjoyable and effortless making it ideal for someone like me who loves to explore on foot with highlights like the Cathedral of St John the Baptist and Colonial Park Cemetery just a short walk away and with the staff being professional and friendly and the rooms being nice and clean with a lovely little balcony view over the river it felt inviting but I do wish the lobby had more cozy seating to enjoy the views as well.

The staff at Marriott Savannah Riverfront truly stands out, particularly Ms. Morgan, who was incredibly personable and attentive. The hotel's proximity to the river walk made it easy to explore, and the atmosphere is inviting. my room faced some cooling issues, but staff were prompt in addressing concerns.

We found this hotel in a fantastic spot, just a few steps from River Street, making it easy to stroll along the river and reach tons of great restaurants and shops nearby, including The Pirates' House and Joe's Crab Shack, while enjoying beautiful river views from our small balcony. The rooms were nice and clean, and the customer service was outstanding too, though we did wish the pool was up and running because that would have been an added bonus for relaxation.

The room had a stunning view of the river, perfect for watching cargo ships come and go. the bed was uncomfortably firm. Temperature control was adequate, but the hallways were noisy at night. Housekeeping was polite, yet we received no service despite multiple requests. The shower door was cracked, raising concerns about safety. While the furniture looked nice, it felt outdated. The room lacked information about food options and room service. More attention to detail would elevate the experience significantly. the room had potential, but several aspects could be improved for better comfort.

Clean and convenient location. Easy access to River Street, which is a plus. the $40 parking fee after a $417 night stay feels excessive. The air conditioning left much to be desired, and the soda machine on the 6th floor was not functional—it even ate my money. $3 for bottled water is outrageous. Weak drinks at the bar and overpriced food reinforce the feeling of a cash grab. While the staff was exceptionally helpful, the noise level and lack of housekeeping were disappointing. For a three-star property, I expected more. The layout is impressive, but the attention to detail needs serious improvement. I won’t return.

Room cleanliness was lacking. The location is awesome, close to bike rentals and walking tours.

The pool was murky and unusable, and the bathroom was disgusting—hairs everywhere, dirt on the floors, and even silverfish roaming around. I was grossed out and totally regretting my choice to stay there.

Great location just a short walk to the lively river street area. Beds were comfy, rooms were spacious, and the balcony facing the lounge was a nice touch. The food and drinks at the bar/lounge were excellent, and the staff, especially Nathan, provided exceptional service.
Lack of a hot tub was disappointing. The high parking fee, especially without valet service, and the disclaimer about responsibility for vehicle damage felt unwelcoming.

We loved staying at the lively City Market, filled with live music, unique crafts, and delicious local eats. The easy access to vibrant shops, fun tours, and entertaining spots made our family vacation unforgettable.
My wife says that the hotel should offer more family-friendly activities.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my recent stay at the Marriott in Savannah. The room we had was quite spacious, which was great. there were a few things that didn't quite meet our expectations. First off, the air conditioning in our room wasn't working properly, and it took a while for them to address the issue. The parking fee of $35 per day was an unexpected additional cost that wasn't mentioned at check-in, which was a bit frustrating. The room itself felt a bit neglected - dusty, stained curtains, and soiled carpets. On the upside, the staff at the hotel were friendly and the location right on the river was fantastic. We were within walking distance of everything, which was super convenient. I had mixed feelings about my stay at the Marriott.

Great location with riverfront views, convenient for tourist attractions, clean and nicely laid out rooms, Ms. Morgan provided excellent service at the bar, and the hotel was right next to river street and the ferry, making it convenient for exploring Savannah.
Felt welcome, nothing to complain about.

The event spaces were fabulous, perfect for drama, darling! The Southern breakfast at Blue was a delight. The massage at the spa was heavenly, pampered to perfection.
Oh, how I adored the view of the dirty roof and oversized roaches.

The location on the River Walk was convenient, just a stroll away from many attractions.
My room was not up to par: noisy hallways, lack of housekeeping, and an overall run-down feel. The prices were steep for the quality offered.

Had a blast with friends exploring City Market with killer live music and hip locally made stuff. So close to all the cool dining spots and fun tours – we were loving life! Super easy to get everywhere we wanted to be, no sweat.
Wish there was a more happening bar scene at the hotel for us party animals looking to keep the good times rolling after hitting the town.

I chose Marriott for its riverfront location near River Street, Savannah Historic District. The complimentary wireless Internet access was a pleasant surprise. I particularly enjoyed the beer and snacks at the modern bar near River Street.
No refrigerator in room. Parking fees not disclosed.

Our stay at this hotel had lots of potential and we enjoyed many aspects of it. The newly renovated room was nice and comfortable, and the location was ideal. We especially appreciated the friendly service from our waitress in the restaurant. The spa and room service were also highlights of our stay. it was a peaceful and pleasant experience.
There were a few drawbacks. The construction throughout the hotel was a bit disruptive, and the charges for Wi-Fi and parking were unexpected.

Comfortable bed and nice river view from the balcony. Enjoyed watching the river activities from the room. The location is within walking distance to the historic area. I'll recommend this hotel.
